CELLULAR ADAPTATION

Adaptation means that cell change it’s morphology to fit the light harmful stimuli from in or out of cell. The cell is alive but its function change concomitance with its morphology.
Cell changes it’s morphology to fit the mild harmful stimuli from in or out of cell.

Mechanism of Adaptation:

cell regulates it’s growth and differentiation to fit the environment stress.
Cell can regulate it’s growth at 3 levels.
  1. Transcription: make more or less messenger ribonucleic acid;
  2. Translation: make more or less proteins.
  3. Post-translation: (1)make the proteins more or less active; (2) degrade the protein faster or slower.
