In previous discussion we have discussed

so now we will continue our discussion with remaining explanation of causes of atrophy.

Causes of Cell Atrophy:

  1. Inadequate nutrition
  2. Pressure:  Compressed atrophy
  3. Decreased  workload: eg. fractured limb ( disuse atrophy)
  4. Denervation
  5. Ageing (senile atrophy)
  6. Loss of endocrine stimulation
These first two are examples of malnutrition.

Asthma Asthma attacks all age groups but often starts in childhood.
